Chocolate dates, your questions answered
Are Date Pop chocolate dates halal?
Yes. Every ingredient is halal: Kalmi dates, nuts, milk and dark chocolate, cream cheese, coconut and kunafa pastry. Nothing contains alcohol or gelatine, and everything is made by hand in our own kitchen in Lahore.
How long do stuffed chocolate dates last?
Two weeks in a cool place, four in the fridge. They have no preservatives, so in Lahore or Karachi summers keep the box refrigerated and take them out ten minutes before serving so the chocolate is not too hard.
How many dates come in a box, and what do they cost?
Mini Box has 4 dates, Snack Box 12, Luxury Box 12 in gold trays, Premium Box 20. Prices start at Rs 450 for a Mini and go to Rs 2,500 for the Premium. Bundles of two or three boxes cost less than buying them separately.
Do you deliver chocolate dates across Pakistan?
Yes. Orders are booked with the courier the same day they are confirmed and usually arrive in 3 to 5 working days, faster in Lahore. Cash on delivery is available everywhere, and delivery is free on orders over Rs 2,500.
Can I get custom packaging for corporate gifts or wedding favours?
Yes. Custom sleeves, your logo, a card inside and bulk pricing are all available for 20 boxes or more. Mini Boxes of 4 are the usual choice for nikkah and mehndi favours and office giveaways. Message us on WhatsApp for a quote.

Which dates do you use?
We use Kalmi dates. They have a firm, meaty texture that holds the filling without tearing or breaking, and their rich, caramel-like sweetness suits our recipes best.
Do the dates have seeds?
No, never. Every date is pitted by hand before we fill it, so you can bite straight in.
Does every date have a filling?
Yes, every single one, and each flavour has its own:
- Kunafa Pistachio: crisp kunafa and silky pistachio cream
- Dark Chocolate Almond: roasted almond in dark chocolate, about 70 calories a date
- Peanut Butter Walnut: peanut butter, salted peanuts and a walnut in milk chocolate
- Coconut Almond: a whole almond in milk chocolate, rolled in coconut
- Cookies and Cream: white chocolate with crushed cookies
- Paan-tastic: our take on paan, with coconut and gulkand
- Lotus Style: caramelised speculoos spread in dark chocolate
What allergens do they contain?
- Nuts: most flavours contain peanuts or tree nuts (almond, walnut, pistachio, coconut).
- Milk: all our chocolate contains milk.
- Gluten: Kunafa Pistachio (kunafa pastry), Cookies and Cream (cookies) and Lotus Style (speculoos biscuit) contain wheat.
Everything is made in a kitchen that handles nuts and wheat, so any flavour may contain traces. If you have a severe allergy, please message us before ordering.
How should I store them, and how long do they last?
Keep them in the fridge, where they stay fresh for up to a month. Take them out about 10 minutes before serving for the best taste.
Will the chocolate melt?
Chocolate starts to soften above 20°C, so keep the box out of the sun, hot cars and warm counters. Pop it in the fridge as soon as it arrives, especially in summer.
How long does delivery take?
3 to 5 working days anywhere in Pakistan, with cash on delivery available.
