So here are the main brands side by side, per 100 g, and then the way we compare granola: by the bowl, not the sticker price.

Small packs cost more per gram everywhere: a 50 g cup or a 90 g bag works out at Rs 600 to 1,000 per 100 g. Most granola here comes in 300 to 380 g packs, so the per kg column is there to compare like with like.
Which is the best granola in Pakistan?
It depends on what you want from it, and we are obviously biased, so here is the honest version.
- Lowest price per bowl: supermarket oat-cluster granola. Check the sugar per serving on the label; clusters need a sweetener to stick, and it can be honey, sugar or syrup.
- Most protein: a protein granola. Nutrilov and our Whey Protein Granola are both made in Pakistan; compare the protein per 40 g serving on the label (ours has 8 g).
- Fewest ingredients, honey only: a small-batch jar. Ours is oats, almonds, seeds, raw honey and dried fruit, with no refined sugar or syrup.
- Cheapest of all: make it yourself. Here is our easy granola recipe.
Compare by the bowl, not the pack
A proper serving of granola is about 40 g, which is roughly four heaped tablespoons on yogurt. Divide the pack weight by 40 and you get the number of bowls; divide the price by that and you get what one breakfast really costs.
- A 350 g jar of Nutty Honey Crunch at Rs 2,250 is about 9 bowls, so Rs 250 a breakfast.
- A 150 g jar at Rs 1,000 is about 4 bowls, so Rs 250 a breakfast as well; you pay for convenience, not per gram.
- A 350 g jar of Whey Protein Granola at Rs 2,600 is 9 bowls at about Rs 290, and each bowl carries extra protein from whey isolate.
For comparison, a paratha and chai from a roadside stall is Rs 150 to 250 in Lahore in 2026, and a cafe breakfast is Rs 900 upwards. A bowl of granola with yogurt sits at the cheap end of an actual breakfast, even though the jar looks expensive next to a box of cornflakes.

What goes in: rolled oats, almonds, seeds and raw honey
Why the prices are so different
Three things move the price. First, nuts: almonds are around Rs 3,000 a kilo in Lahore this year and a good granola is 20 percent almonds, so a cheap granola is usually a low-nut granola. Second, sweetener: real honey costs several times what glucose syrup does, and syrup granolas are the ones that clump into hard, glassy chunks. Third, batch size: supermarket brands bake tonnes and ship it dry for months; small-batch jars are baked to order and the price includes that freshness.
What to check before you pay
Read the first three ingredients. If sugar, syrup or "cereal" comes before nuts, you are paying granola prices for sweetened oats. Look for a protein figure per serving, not per 100 g, because that is the number you actually eat. And check how the pack is sealed: an airtight jar keeps crunch for two weeks after opening; a foil bag goes soft in Karachi humidity in three days.
