Our story

Not your regular
date

Date Pop started with a simple idea: to take something as timeless as a date and turn it into something thoughtful to give, share and eat.

I’m Fatima, the founder of Date Pop.

behind the product

What happens behind a product

My professional background is in supply chain and business operations, so I have always been fascinated by what happens behind a product. Where ingredients come from. How quality is maintained. How processes are built. And how something that begins as a very small idea can eventually grow into something meaningful.

where it began

A small seasonal start

When I started Date Pop in 2022, it was a small seasonal business. At the time, I could not have imagined how deeply personal this journey would become.

With every order, every new flavour and every customer who came back, I started seeing Date Pop differently. It was no longer only about selling dates. It was about creating something of my own. Something I could build with intention, improve every day and hopefully turn into something much bigger than me.

What we make

Today, Date Pop brings together two things I care about: gifting and everyday snacking.

made with obsession

Tested, changed, tested again

From our signature stuffed and chocolate coated dates to granola, seeds and the products we continue to develop, I am deeply involved in what we put out. Recipes are tested, changed and tested again. Packaging evolves. Ingredients are questioned. Ideas that do not work are dropped. The ones that do are made better.

I want every Date Pop product to taste good, use ingredients we stand behind, and feel like something worth gifting or keeping for yourself.

the heart of it

Behind this brand is an all women team

These are women whose hands prepare, pack and bring our products to life every day. And watching this business create work, confidence and financial opportunity for women has changed what Date Pop means to me.

I know what it means for a woman to want something of her own. To want independence. To want her work to matter. To want to contribute to her family while still building a life that belongs to her too.

That is why, for me, women empowerment is not a campaign we attach to Date Pop. It is part of what I want this company to become.

“I want it to be measured by how many lives grew alongside it.”

the vision

We started with dates.

But the vision is much bigger now.

To build a premium Pakistani food brand that people are proud to gift and happy to consume every day, while creating meaningful opportunities for the women behind it.

And we are only getting started.
